I don't avoid going to friends' homes when they host a holiday or Christmas party.

But I don't see how it is possibly disrespectful to say "I don't celebrate Christmas".

It isn't my holiday. It's religious perspectives are in direct contradiction to my own. How is it disrespectful to respect the differences between Christian and non-Christian theology??
