well, actually, there are ppl on the far left who say that it is immoral that people can make money out of sickness and suffering, and that private healthcare should be banned, so Jeff is actually correct to ask - however, actually getting a ban, as Mrsilence points out, wanting it banned and marshalling the public support to make it happen are 2 different things.

The UK leftists have not banned the private option , nor have right wingers completely demolished the NHS - yet. Even Cameron has been forced to ' ring fence' NHS funding.
