A Tale of Two Cities

Boy, what a contrast between President Obama and Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell's speeches after Tuesday's midterm election. Dumping President Obama is McConnell's highest priority (his words, not mine). So this is what America has to look forward to: gridlock. Despite voters saying in poll after poll they want Congress and the President to work together, the message just doesn't sink in.

Jesus Christ. The health care bill is FULL of republican ideas. The stimulus package was 50% tax cuts because the republicans wanted it. Your statement is UTTER FUCKING BULLSHIT.

If anything, Obama has been TOO conciliatory.

Person A says, let's build a 2-story, 5-bedroom house. It should have a long driveway and some good landscaping and shingle roof and we'll paint it green.
Person B says, I don't think that's a good idea, how about a 1-story, 3-bedroom house. Also, it should have a tile roof, a short driveway, and paint it blue. But landscaping is good.
Person A builds a 2-story, 4-bedroom house with a tile roof, short driveway and paints it yellow.
According to you, Person A can say that his house is full of Person B's ideas and Person B shouldn't complain.

no, according to me, that's a bullshit analogy which doesn't fit the situation one bit.

Yes, I understand that you don't understand the situation.

No, you just write terrible analogies.
