Being colorblind is perhaps a worthy future goal but is absolutely the wrong way to go when you have a rigged system in place. You can afford to be colorblind only if you aren't on the business end of that system. So I would agree with you if racism were not presently pernicious. Until then, being colorblind is just a rationalization for doing nothing.
