Today in the news the scientists believe that the oil has hit the LOOP current and it's heading for the Florida coast and ultimately up and around Florida and along the whole eastern seaboard of the US................ is the oil that precious to us now?????????????????????????????????????????

Actually a prop boat should work fairly well. What you don't want is a impeller type many speedboats use. You'll have a hot gummy mess.
