Today in the news the scientists believe that the oil has hit the LOOP current and it's heading for the Florida coast and ultimately up and around Florida and along the whole eastern seaboard of the US................ is the oil that precious to us now?????????????????????????????????????????

But I'm also a born-and-raised American. My French is probably as rusty as yours is, if not worse, because nobody speaks French around here and I've not spoken it actively in years. But it's an interesting perspective. My extended family is in Nova Scotia, but my immediate family (mother and sister) are American, living in the USA, and I'm a US Army veteran. Take a guess how much anti-French sentiment I got while I was in the Army with a classic Acadian name like mine. :p
Anyway, yeah, I wonder what's going to happen to the fishing grounds off Nova Scotia. I worry.

But yeah, there are areas of northern Maine that are iffy about the precise location of the border. It's sparsely populated, and has a lot of wilderness. So yeah, I can see how that would happen.
