Today in the news the scientists believe that the oil has hit the LOOP current and it's heading for the Florida coast and ultimately up and around Florida and along the whole eastern seaboard of the US................ is the oil that precious to us now?????????????????????????????????????????

Hey man, we've tried nuclear landscaping (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Plowshare) before. Certainly using nuclear explosions will work out better where that stuff can get introduced to ocean currents directly, rather than having to wait for fallout.
