You find THAT easier to believe than the simplest explanation, which is that the Republican party apologized and returned the poster because it was precisely that contingent of the Republican Party who met in that classroom and complained about the posters (one of whom took pictures of them and posted them on his Facebook) who also carried off the poster that offended them and left a note behind.
