You make the claim that the liberals characterization of Bush is demonstrably false.

Both claims are independent, thus thus by definition, that is changing the subject. I can address the latter by saying the characterization liberals have made regarding Bush have been shown to be true and come up with numerous examples of such, but that says nothing at all about the former statement.
