I stand corrected, and thank you for the information. The argument is perhaps better made with something less hyperbolic. As you point out, tanks, bombs, bazookas, and flamethrowers have limited access mostly because of cost/supply/big enough garage.

It's a great point that most people don't know how much is legal. I felt I was pretty well informed on the issues but didn't know about the status of the items you mentioned. I just assumed.
