Here's an alternative story. The sheep observe other barns, where wolf-like creatures called "dogs" live alongside sheep without attacking them.

Instead of asking the other sheep how they've achieved this, our sheep give themselves sharper teeth in hope of stopping our wolves from attacking them.

Result: more sheep end up being eaten by wolves in our barn.
