Umm, Gates has followed through with all of the military suggestions proposed by Petraeus and other Pentagon officials - with the approval of Obama. They are pretty much in accord with each other. If they weren't, Gates would be on his way out.

Again Obama doesn't listen to him. He is a token and treated as such.
