Thanks very much for that! I will definitely check it out. And let me return that kindness with a suggestion of my own ;) You may already be aware of The Humans of New York Blog (http://www.humansofnewyork.com/), but it's a guy who basically lost all his money and came to New York to do photography (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brandon-stanton/humans-of-new-york-behind_b_3210673.html). And I think it's wonderful. And so much more positive than Jeremiah's blog. I've attempted my own version of what Brandon does with HONY, but walking up to complete strangers and asking permission for their photograph is pretty hard for me to do.

But I have made some friends too, e.g. couple I snapped a picture of on the 1 train:
