One of the classics on the subject is One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073486/?ref_=sr_1) based on Ken Kesey's novel. Kesey worked in a veteran's psyche hospital and volunteered as a participant in the MKULTRA LSD experiments. He based his work on that foundation. The film is not very true to the novel but it is a decent thumbnail sketch.
