Apparently, Lots of Libertarians Don't Think Women are People Either

So The Mercatus, a right-wing think tank, has declared North Dakota -- which recently passed an incredibly restrictive anti-abortion law, one of the free-est of all the fifty states

Once again, we see that when right wing libertarians use the word "liberty," they're using their own extra-special definition of it. As Salon has pointed out reproductive freedom apparently isn't even entered into the calculations,

Women, you see, just don't count.

my beef in my post is about tone and selective emphasis to disparage an entire political philosophy, not factual content. Or, you can be selective in one phrase taken out of context and run run run!

After all, it is the internets.

Stop making abortion about 'teh gurlz' and start making it about general (as opposed to gender) human rights, and maybe JUST maybe, we can all start to settle down.

Oh I'm sorry, what context am I missing here?

the context that over generalizations are often wrong, and your point of view is just that, a point of view.

Is it that I do not agree with your position that you take this smarmy approach? Or do you agree with my assertion that all rights are universal?

Oh of course, if men were able to have babies I would say the same thing, it's definitely not an issue of protecting women, but protecting humans in general. Sometimes from others, sometimes from themselves.

Is it that I do not agree with your position that you take this smarmy approach? Or do you agree with my assertion that all rights are universal?

I agree that all rights are universal for people after they're born.
