The product of multiple local elections where every single election has a different explanation/outcome? There are always House seats that aren't contested, and there are some, like my district, where it's come down to a runoff between two Republicans. Obviously if two Republicans are running that looks Right-Wing even if it's really the result of redistricting. Gerrymandering works in favor of both parties, which is why it won't ever be abolished.
