Citizens United had to do with equating massive political donations from corporations with free speech. It has emboldened some employers into believing that it gives them the right to campaign at the workplace for their own chosen candidate. This version of "free speech" endangers the free speech of employees, who may very well, and with good reason, find themselves reluctant to argue with the boss and thus reveal their own political viewpoints.
