The media didn't "give a pass" on Benghazi. They just wouldn't trump up a non-issue just because conservatives wanted them to. The fact is that our embassies have been attacked many times throughout the years (several times during the Bush administration) but NOW it's suddenly an issue? That's nothing but shameless (and shameful) political opportunism. Don't be mad that everyone saw through it.

I've been saying for years that this election would be about the economy. It may not be as healthy as we'd like but the fact is that for months the numbers having been moving in the right direction. Add to that Mitt's reputation as someone willing to send jobs to China if it helps the bottom line and it's no surprise that he's doing as badly as he has so far.

But the day isn't over, and from what i hear Republicans are doing everything they can to keep minorities from voting in Ohio and Florida so you never know.
