Funny you post about this. Today, I discovered a ensemble in France has made a CD recording of one my music editions of Telemann, without my permission. In fact, I only found out when they wrote and asked a specific question about the manuscript source. I think under U.S. law I'm covered by copyright, but under French law (Le Code de la propriété intellectuelle (Art. L. 131-4), authors, editors and publishers
"must benefit from uses made of their works."
