Thomas Szasz scoffs at the way American psychiatrists pointed the finger of blame at Soviet psychiatric abuses, all the while ignoring similar abuses in the US. It is like the way that the Chinese are not free to criticize China, but Americans are free to criticize China to their heart's content.
