Now, there's something wrong with this picture. See if you can tell me what it is.....

You mean Congress?

As for what's wrong with your picture, it merely shows spending. I can reduce spending to zero simply by forbidding anyone to spend anything on health care.

So what you're saying is that Americans are fundamentally different than the rest of the world and need more healthcare? Or what? What are you saying?

everyone in those countries without exception can get prescription drugs, regular checkups, emergency care, and lifesaving surgery with $0 direct cost.

everyone. every single citizen. with a lower per capita infant mortality rate, doctor malpractice, and a life expectancy as high or higher than the united states.

the united states congress didn't do this to us, your free market did.

My son-in-law injured his hand while traveling around Europe; he went into a French hospital, got it fixed - no charge. This, for an American.

I wonder what would happen to a French citizen in the U.S.?

Well, if it happened in Ca, he would get it fixed, if he was in the country illegally there would be no charge. The hospital would bill the gov't, who prly wouldn't pay. This happens often enough and the ER closes......even if they don't deserve a profit, the drs and nurses do deserve to get paid.

As far as I know, Germany doesn't have a "public" system like France, they have co-ops.
