This comes very timely for the monthly topic.

"President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton before agreeing to meet with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign, according to three advisers to the White House briefed on the meeting and two others with knowledge of it."

Well, there's no explaining this one away. Will Trump Jr take the fall for the entire Russian Scandal? Only time will tell.

But Putin and Trump pinkie-swore there was no collusion. So it must be all right.

If true, with Don Jr.'s "confession" that yeah, he thought he was going to get dirt on Hillary, and that they discussed sanctions Obama imposed on Russian individuals in 2014 that resulted in Russia rescinding an agreement with the US to adopt Russian children, then Don Jr., Manafort, and Kushner engaged in a "quid pro quo" discussion with a foreign government, which is the very definition of collusion. I guess someone must have mentioned that to Junior, since he immediately lawyered up.

I have a feeling that Trump will be responsible for a return to record high employment numbers, just as he claimed he would deliver during his campaign. Unfortunately, that will be due exclusively to all the staff and lawyers Robert Mueller will have to hire in order to investigate the Trump administration. ;-)

The anti-Trump media (read: almost all media) are speaking of internal sources "speaking under condition of anonymity of course) of a "besieged White house", and Trump aides "circling each other in suspicion". A rather grim picture indeed - if true.

Or could it be a part of a larger Trump-smearing campaign? (Not that he needs anyone else to do the job for him, he seems to be pretty good at covering himself in shit already).

That's the real art of kompromat. Doesn't matter if you really have some truly damaging information about someone, or if it's really that damaging (it could contain a grocery list for all you know); what matters is that you make sure people know you DO have information on someone, period. And you're going to reveal it if they don't behave.

Makes them poise and wonder what they might've done wrong.

Just imagine what would've happened if the Democrats didn't come up with one of the most "baggage-full" candidates they had in the bag. Do you think the Russians would have been able to find dirt if there wasn't a fucking mountain of corruption everywhere Hillary ever walked?

I wouldn’t put it past Daddy Trump to throw Sonny Boy under the bus if there was a way to save his own ugly orange skin tbereby. But I hope it doesn't play out that way. Sonny deserves to go down, but so do a lot of other people, including Jared, Ivanka, and Eric. I'll eat this tablet I'm typing on if they're not all in on this (all of them and whoever else, of course).

I especially want to see Trump Sr. go down and go down HARD. I want to see Trumpty Dumpty fall off that wall!
